Creative Writing Resource for Budding Authors
CRIT: It is finished! =D
I have been working on a short story for about 6 or 7 weeks now. And its now finally finished. I am very proud of it. Its quite long. If memory serves it was 15,125 words when I word counted it, basically it's 29 pages of font 12. Point being. It's long, so if you want to read it in one go... have some time to kill.
The penulitmate part in set in a club in Manchester named 'The Avenue' hence the title of the story. There isn't actually a club called that in Manchester to my knowledge but there is one with a very similar name; one that i frequent often and have based this fictional one around.
Brownie points for anyone who can tell me the actual club's name and/or the songs I quote in said chapter. Anyway, rant over. Whats good? whats bad? i'm proud of it, but i know it can be improved with your help
