One of the names here might sound very familiar =) I'm uploading this basically to get feedback on how the relationships come across between the characters, so please, if you would, take the time to give me some comments ^_^

Ha, I was checking my emails as it came in saying Fiona has posted something.
I think I added some stuff about presentation in the forum or groups somewhere. Basically, when you're sending stuff off to publishers you should use 12 point Times New Roman, double spaced, indent the first line of each new paragraph (including any dialogue that starts on a new line) and separate major shifts in scenes or storyline that occur within the same chapter by a double space. To indent you simply just press the tab key once and that should already be set up. There's also rules about margins and stuff but I can't remember that off the top of my head. If you check out the Tirfo Thuin extract I posted in the CRIT forum you should see what I mean.
Hope this helps, that paperclip was so pointless. Don;t know if they've gotten rid of that on vista or if it's just hidden but it's nice to have my whole page clean and empty. :)
Thanks AB. =) Gawd, all this fiddlyness just for a publisher. Well, how you mentioned the formatting sounds very similar to how we have to do it for university assignments, so it won't be too much of a leap. It'll be a while before this one is finished, though!

You could always pinch the nifty word-count target thing from AB's profile (like I did)... it's awesome for keeping an eye on your progress. I just updated my word count and apparently I've done 1% of my novel today...

Lol just looked at your profile and you've got the word-count gadget already. Nice.
