Aye definitely should all go for a drink sometime... I do have one exam on the 18th but I think I'm just making a flying visit for that, but I'll be back properly the weekend before the 28th when we start back.
Howdy, thought I'd comment rather than hold a lengthy conversation in that micro-fiction discussion lol. Anyway I'm good thanks, and yeah I'm back home now. I got my assignments all in on time and I think they were all half decent. I've been told that nobody in my CW class has failed so that's something at least lol. Writing the female gothic essay was hellish though; I spent a whole day (and night, I was up til 5:30AM) reading Villette before I could actually start writing on it.
The novel is going fairly well...check out the word-count thingy on my profile... though I might actually up the target, I'm starting to think it might turn into a bit more of a monster than I'd expected :o
I think its okay to post assignments up here; I have done before as have Cathy and Martin I think, but it may be best not to post something that's with a publisher at the moment.
Good luck with Comma Press by the way. I submitted The Wrong Place to them a while back, and while they said it wasn't quite what they were after. the editor was still quite positive about it... I'll probably try them again sometime.
Red is right man. Firefox is way better than IE. I am actually a web designer and there is a big split in the office as to which is best. You can get miles more plug ins and stuff that make your life easier as a designer in Firefox.
Don't you find the silences in class painful? There was one that was over 10 seconds the other day, tumbleweed, crickets, the whole shenanigans.
I really wanted to shout out 'ANYONE WANT TO SEE MY MONKEY IMPERSONATION?' to ease the tension.
You're still using internet explorer? PSSHH, download Mozilla Firefox it's way better. Though your anti-virus would probably still kick up a stink... anyway I'm super, thanks for asking. Sorry I had to run off t'other day at the anthology launch. We most definitely have to hang out properly soon, so I can bore you to death talking about my novel. Laters
H.G. Wells, Hunter S. Thompson, Philip K. Dick, George Orwell
Favorite Novel(s):
The Wasp Factory, The Rum Diary, A Scanner Darkly, The Man in the High Castle, Frankenstein, The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner, 1984, The Time Machine

Ban IE, that's what I say.
