My first novel - cover art

After a few hours (spread across about 3 months) the cover art for my first novel is near complete. There are several subtle hints at the content of the book which, once you've read it, will make sense. Although design is actually my profession I am quite pleased with the outcome here as I've never created a book jacket before. I've started a new group for 'Cover Art' where you can start adding any book art you would like to discuss or find of particular interest. Any comments or advice on this cover are more than welcome.
